GABBO & Sun Sattva is a duo made up of Florin Gabor (GABBO) and Alin Tiganus (Sun Sattva). They hail from Romania and have been perfecting their craft individually for years before working together on their “Believe in Music” EP. The percussion on Sun Sattva’s Oriental Mix of “Someone Like You” gives it a funky Middle Eastern vibe while Raul Magerusan’s remix of the same song is more progressive in nature and is ready to be dropped on the dance floor. The track “Believe in Music” has an old school progressive house feel to it and almost reminds me a little of Darude’s Sandstorm which can’t be a bad thing.
The people over at Patpong Club Records were nice enough to share this EP with us before its worldwide release on February 5th.
