Native Instruments decided to give DMC World Champion, DJ Rafik (who is also sponsored by them) brand new and currently unreleased TRAKTOR X1 controllers and see what he can create on the fly.
In the 3 videos posted below, Rafik combines TRAKTOR Scratch Pro, TRAKTOR Kontrol X1 and MASCHINE controllers along with two turntables and a mixer.

I could watch that Block-rocking beats a million times! Love how he plays with the piece. This is so great to watch, because this is where the digital meets the analogue DJ equipment, and the arrival of the digital does not necessarily mean disappearing of the analogue, especially the turntables. The combination is amazing.
