A collaboration between two DJs who came together as Ibiza residents of the Star Club in 2004 and have never managed to part company. Phil England, already renowned for productions with Dan McKie & Max’C plus more, and with releases on Big In Ibiza and Universal to name a few, he is no newcomer, but for Craig Dalzell this is the first venture into the world of production for this White Isle Renegade.
All mixed with the impressive vocal talents of Larisa (Ministry Of Sound) and a catchy hook replayed from a 90s classic! This is nothing short of a monster for Ibiza 2009.

this random tune follows in the footsteps of last year’s summer monster ‘paddy’s revenge’ by taking something traditional and putting an entirely new spin on it. imagine then if you will, the soundtrack to ‘deliverance’ in a head-on collision with the balearic isles and you are somewhere close to the sound of ‘banjo monkey’.
banjo monkey sees dan mckie re-working an original piece of (west) country banjo, guitar and harmonica music and blending it with a latin influenced stomping bass and vocal hook. this is a future terrace classic and a very unique sounding record.
