Review: Snatch by Venaccio on System Recordings
Progressive House is officially crowned the new epic hands-in-air trance, so to justify the new crowning, this track salutes the gates and the feel and what we get is a progressive house tune that makes you long for the first times you’ve heard electronic music. Great build-up for about two minutes and then some sharply cut FM synths with gated background pad that reminds you of the 90s, with a massive touch of base for the masses. My guess is this song would do great as a takeoff for a more massive tech set because it features also some bells that can go very well with looped treats. This track is just nice for listening and doesn’t get too boring on your ears. Some tension maker with snares near the end really makes you miss old trance tunes, it’s just amazing. If you are looking for some deadmau5 spin off, this is not exactly the tune for you, but it will definitely fit in a more intelligent and complicated Ibiza beach dance set.
