Clocktower RecordsI came for the name, and stayed for the feeling, this tune first got me interested by the name, resembling much to the old hit – Meet her at the Love Parade by Da Hool but it had a certain something to it, which I eventually had to download and review.
Tech house goes very deep with this release by Andy Clockwork; the name is the last point of similarity to the old hit by Da Hool. Featuring some house organ and acid hits. Along with some booty moving baseline and a break of 90’s trance stabs, there is a whole lot of hidden automation and instruments in this track to make you ponder the greatness of simplified tech house as we come to know it – being formed as we speak, listen and dance. This track is a great one for buildups and come downs from very deep progressive tech places and it is also an awesome tune for itself. I for one, love the overall groove inflicted by this tune, a rhythm that takes you somewhere between techno and shuffle jazz-house. If you’re looking for a routine breaker, this one will fit right in the slot, and will give your listeners a big pleasure of your non-standard selection of music. In two words – smooth grinding!
