Review: Be With You (Original) by Igness on Music Philosophy Records
When I first started spinning Progressive House, I’ve had in mind exactly what I will play, when and why. When I started collecting master pieces (Mind that I will not call them just tunes or songs, they are works of art!), I have discovered that Progressive House is some genre that raises you to love a whole range of electronic music. In this case, Be With You, features an amazing pad with constant riff which would very much settle right in epic trance, all in the tempo exactly for proper house, but it gives the feeling of chill-out. Confused? So am I! But this are the kind of gems I’m after at all times, the complicated set build is sometimes more pleasurable then proper beat matching or in-key mixing. Keeping in mind that this track is not for any set, it would be very easily placed in most progressive sets.
One thing that did prevent this tune from getting a 5/5 in my opinion and only 4/5 was that its snare/click persistency was over-done, for my taste only. Some hard core progressive fans might go berserk after this un-changing click. But otherwise, a great sounding and most definitely a one that goes directly to my playlists.
