Speedy J Playing in Seattle - 2006

Dj Jochem Paap(AKA: Speedy J), The Rotterdam based Techno Dj was recently interviewed by the nice people over at Beatportal (Beatports Music Portal), telling about an innovative new way he is going to release his next album “Red Shift”. He believes it will redefine the art of Djing. Speedy says djs will no longer remix tracks on the fly with complete tracks, but will take on the part of live producers and will have the loops, instruments and vocals, thus being able to “mix on a molecular level”.
Numerous new creative ways to deploy your artistic vision of the music you play, and you no longer have to actually be a producer in order to create innovative mixes.
Definitely something to look out for.
