Powerful Anime Edge coverMy week’s favorite progressive track will be this one for sure, yes sure, it has the usual build and the usual all-over bounce and it has tons of the usual this and the usual that. But it also has something unusual, which for me is a green light for a club play. This track has guts, it adds some harmonic spice to the usual progressive gated trance-house sound and it mixes it very well inside. It starts with a techy intro for a clean up-take from a tech cross-genre set and it melts gracefully, almost unnoticed, into a progressive starter for a blasting take off. The only time I will hold myself from playing this tune is if I’m playing to a crowd full of drunken ADHDs which will not wait for a take off with this tune and might get it the wrong way. Played in a well built set to a crowd of progressive and tech fans this tune might be the one to make your crowd thank you for letting them cook on small fire for little longer, but that is of course if you will not fail in delivering the bomb that needs to take up from this one.
